About the event
Dive into the transformative world of Soil Health and Composting with School Garden Network! Join us for an engaging training with special guest presenter Stefan Stehling of ROOT Solution LLC. Stefan is an expert on vermiculture waste-to-compost programs at schools, which divert food material from landfills to onsite bins enriched with compost worms. This is an unique opportunity to blend practical knowledge with interdisciplinary garden-related programming, to share NGSS and other curriculum on soil science and microbiology through the grades, observe Conservation Work’s Waste Wizards Program in action, foster a commitment to living systems among young minds, and so much more! Lunch will be provided, along with a giveaway of compost related materials.
