11:00am-12:00pm  FREE CLASS- “Planning Your Winter Garden ” with Master Garden and Shone Farm instructor,  Wendy Krupnik. Learn how to plan now for a productive, healthy winter garden!

Wendy Krupnik has been an organic farmer and gardener for over 30 years. Wendy has been actively involved with organizations working to further a more sustainable agriculture. She coordinated the 4-acre garden at Santa Rosa Jr. College’s Shone Farm, which is part of the Sustainable Agriculture program, and has been teaching Master Gardener classes since 1992, teaches workshops on edible gardening through Santa Rosa Parks & Recreation Department, and assists home garden clients.

9:00am – 10:30am – Join the work party  or tour the Seed Garden on site  where many of our local seeds are being grown ( optional)

9:00am – 11:00am – Seed Library OPEN- drop in anytime between these hours. All are welcome to take home some of the  the hundreds of varieties of  locally grown seeds!  Pick up seeds for your winter garden…lots of locally grown brassicas, lettuces, herbs, flowers.

Learn how you can grow out some varieties to return to the Seed Exchange in the future.
