The School Garden Network’s first annual fundraiser, Harvest Fest 2014, was a big success with over 250 people attending the event at the Lagunitas Brewery!  It was a fun evening filled with live music, food and beer.  The crowd danced to Poor Man’s Whiskey’s lively bluegrass/southern rock tunes throughout the night and enjoyed pork tacos, beans, tamales, quesadillas, salsa, watermelon, and a seasonal salad with lettuce and vegetables from Wright Charter School.  The silent auction was well attended and the event raised close to $10,000 which will go to support Sonoma County school gardens! We want to thank everyone who participated in the event as well as all of our generous sponsors and businesses that donated items for the auction and dinner:

The Lagunitas Brewery, Poor Man’s Whiskey and Criminal Baking Co.

Food donations: Devil’s Gulch Ranch, Tierra Farm, Susan Stover, Wright Charter School, Julia Valentine, FEED Sonoma, Whole Foods Market and Petaluma Market.
