Farm to School

Local Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Farms are increasingly partnering with school gardens to work together in many ways. Local farms in our area include:

Green String Farm- Petaluma, CA: A diversified farm raising vegetables, fruits, nuts, eggs and grass-fed beef by natural-process farming. Supports farm-to-school partnerships.

Carrot Top Farm- Healdsburg, CA: Recently featured in a Press Democrat Article

Laguna Farm- Sebastopol, CA: Laguna Farm has been providing organically grown produce to the Sonoma County area for over 20 years through direct sales at farm markets, CSA memberships, retail stores and fine restaurants.

Canvas Ranch- Petaluma, CA: They are a: "small family farm in the idyllic Two Rock Valley north of San Francisco, something like you might find in the countryside of France or Italy. Together with our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) members, our farmworkers and friends, we're a community, a village of sorts. We work together to feed each other, support each other, and fulfill each other's needs."

Tierra Vegetables- Santa Rosa, CA: They are committed to producing vegetables, chiles and wool products of the very highest quality through sustainable farming practices.
