Rain Tank Installation at the Cali Calmécac School Garden

Rain Tank Installation at the Cali Calmécac School Garden
Saturday, November 5th, 10am-3pm
Volunteers are needed to help install a brand new 2,650 gallon rain tank at the Cali Garden! We’ll be capturing rainwater off a classroom roof and using it to water the kids’ veggie garden. Help is needed installing the tank and the drip irrigation system. Don’t worry, no technical skills needed…training can be provided by our partners Daily Acts, the Town of Windsor, the Rotary Club, and Engineers Without Borders. A delicious, homemade lunch will be provided, with gluten-free option. This will be a great chance to get to know new people in the community, as well as learn how to utilize the gift of free water falling from the sky. Please sign up by clicking here so the organizers know how much lunch to make.
