    Spring Creek Charter School in Santa Rosa seeks a Garden Coordinator to teach weekly garden education classes, maintain the vegetable and pollinator gardens and fruit trees, as well as facilitate community involvement and investment in our school garden. Now in its 10th year, the school garden program is an important part of school culture and is highly valued by the school community.

    Qualifications: Minimum of 2-3 years of facilitation or teaching experience with youth aged 4-9; knowledge and skills in small-scale organic food production or home gardening; knowledge of or interest in topics including urban gardening, botany, environmental science, health and nutrition, food systems, food access; ability to work with diverse populations including youth and adults; ability to work independently and be flexible. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Application deadline is September 15, 2016.
